Code of Conduct

Project Legacy Rules

Project Legacy is built around fair play, long-term progression, and a community-first Vanilla experience. These rules exist to protect the realm and keep the game from turning into a gold-selling or boosting economy.

Leveling, Boosting, and Multiboxing

  • No mage boosting. You may help friends through dungeons on a high-level character, but you may not mage boost players through dungeons to rapidly bypass leveling.
  • No multilogging or multiboxing. You may not log into two accounts at the same time or control multiple accounts at once.

Gold, Accounts, and Raid Loot

  • No gold selling or buying. Any real-money trading is an instant ban.
  • No GDKP. Gear in raids cannot be sold for gold.
  • No account selling or buying. Accounts are personal and may not be traded, sold, or purchased.

Cheating and Client Modification

  • No botting. Automation, scripts, or unattended gameplay are not allowed.
  • No modifying game files. Do not alter client files to gain an advantage, bypass restrictions, or change gameplay behavior.

Chat and Moderation

Private chats such as guild chat, whispers, raid chat, party chat, and similar private channels are not actively moderated. World chat is moderated, but players are expected to use the ignore feature instead of demanding moderation over normal arguments or opinions.

  • World chat is English only. The only exception is guild recruitment advertisements, which may be posted in any language.

The following are not allowed in world chat or anywhere else on the server:

  • Doxxing or sharing personal information.
  • Threatening other players.
  • Spamming world chat.

Griefing

  • No griefing. Deliberately disrupting normal gameplay is not allowed.
  • Repeatedly killing important NPCs such as flight masters, quest givers, or other essential NPCs with the sole purpose of preventing players from progressing is considered griefing.
  • Occasional PvP and normal world conflict are part of the game. Persistent harassment intended only to ruin the experience for others is not.

Harassment and Ignore Evasion

  • Respect the ignore feature. If another player chooses to ignore you, do not create or use other characters to continue contacting or harassing them.
  • Repeated unwanted contact, stalking, or targeted harassment across multiple characters or accounts is not permitted.
If you do not like what someone is saying, put them on ignore. Staff will step in for doxxing, threats, spam, cheating, RMT, account trading, and other serious rule violations.
